Just for Jews
This post is primarily for Jews. REAL Jews, not Mormon pseudo-Jews. ("
...all members of the church are told that they are descendants of the tribes of Israel...") I need to warn you about Mitt Romney and his brand of Zionism because I owe you Jewish people a great deal. You're responsible for my eternal life, to be exact. (I'm not entirely happy about it, but if it wasn't for the fact that you rejected your Messiah, God would never have offered your Savior to save this Gentile from an eternity in hell.) Like your prophets of old, I give you this warning. I hope you'll listen this time.
Mitt Romney, MIA?
I was wondering where Mitt Romney was last week. (Not really, but it was strangely quiet for a while.) But then, defacto mouthpiece for Mitt Romney, Hugh Hewitt sprang in to action. Like the Old Media parroting talking points, Mr. Hewitt dutifully relayed the dope from the Mitt Romney campaign. Mr. Hewitt happily informed us that Mitt Romney was in, of all places, Israel!
I thought we in the New Media repudiated people who blindly passed press releases along?
Why was Mitt Romney in Israel? Do the Mormons have a temple there? No. (Sure would solve a lot of problems with the current Temple Mount dispute. You Jews can just rebuild Solomon's temple on the Mormon temple site. I'm sure the Mormons won't mind, since they claim to be your brothers.) Is he trying to show his concern for the Jews? Or is he simply pandering, trying to win votes from American Jews?
He's obviously pandering, but when you know a little more about Mormonism and their almost Christian Identity view of Jews (
Christian Identity Movement is a White Supremacist group), you ought to be outraged.
The One True Chosen People?
While not quite as radical as White Supremacists, Mormonism has some close parallels. Enough parallels and close enough to be scary.
Both groups teach that Blacks are cursed. Christian Identity says, "
Noah and his wife were both racially pure White people, so their children were naturally the same. Only Canaan and his descendants were cursed."
Mormonism says, "
We know the circumstances under which the posterity of Cain (and later of Ham) were cursed with what we call Negroid racial characteristics." (Note that Christian Identity actually has the object of the curse, Canaan, correct. Whereas Mormonism has it wrong, citing Ham. But Identity doesn't claim to have a prophet like the Mormons. Yet the latter got it wrong. Go figure.)
Both groups teach they are God's chosen people. Christian Identity believes "
that white Anglo-Saxons - not Jews - are the real Biblical 'Chosen People;'"
Mormonism teaches its the ONE True church; that "
...all members of the church are told that they are descendants of the tribes of Israel..." Not only that, but Mormonism claims to have
the Aaronic priesthood, even though they're not really Jews, nor from the tribe of Levi, nor descendants of Aaron, all requirements of God to serve before Him in the temple, sacrificing animals. (Numbers 17:3, Exodus 28:1, respectively.)
As with Christian Identity, Mormonism claims a superior position over the Jews — the so-called "
Melchizedek Priesthood," which is never mentioned in the Bible as something being passed down, nor something the Jews claim to have. Rather, God says that Priesthood, only mentioned twice in the Bible, is an "unchangeable priesthood." (Hebrews 7:24)
I have a Mormon Bible where the footnote for 'unchangeable' states: "or,
which passeth not from one to another." The last person in the Bible to have the Melchizedek priesthood is Jesus. He still has it.
As you can imagine, this was an embarrassment for the church, so it did what any good Liberal organization does: It removed the footnote in later Bibles.
Enough to give you fits
Howbeit that a Gentile can convert — literally — to a Jew? Well,
according to Mormonism, even though you may think you're a Gentile, you may actually be pure Jew. They teach Joseph Smith was. Brigham Young, the second prophet of the church, declared:
Take a family of ten children, for instance, and you may find nine of them purely of the Gentile stock, and one son or one daughter in that family who is purely of the blood of Ephraim. It was in the veins of the father or mother, and was reproduced in the son or daughter, while all the rest of the family are Gentiles. You may think that is singular, but it is true.... Joseph Smith was a pure Ephraimite... (Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, pages 268)
Mormons think they're either from the tribe of Ephraim or Manasseh. NOT the priesthood tribe of Levi.
Or, in the same way they now teach that "all churches have some truth," they say most people have some Jewish blood in their history. So literally converting the blood is not problem because most of us already have some Jewish blood in us. But what if you happen to be pure Gentile, with no Jewish blood? This will give you fits. Literally.
Again, if a pure Gentile firmly believes the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and yields obedience to it, in such a case I will give you the words of the Prophet Joseph— 'When the Lord pours out the Holy Ghost upon that individual he will have spasms, and you would think that he was going into fits.'
Joseph said that the Gentile blood was actually cleansed out of their veins, and the blood of Jacob made to circulate in them; and the revolution and change in the system were so great that it caused the beholder to think they were going into fits.... we are of the House of Israel, of the royal seed, of the royal blood." (Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, pages 269)
Now this gets confusing... and we know who the author of confusion is, don't we? What if you're already a true Jew and want to convert to Mormonism? If Mormonism is really just another tribe of Judaism, converting shouldn't be a problem. No conversion should be needed. Especially in light of the out above, where those of us Gentiles who have some Jewish blood are saved the spasms.
But here's what their 2nd "prophet" and President said regarding a Jewish conversion:If a Jew comes in to this Church, and honestly professes to be a Saint, a follower of Christ, and if the blood of Judah is in his veins, he will apostatize. He may have been born and bred a Jew, have the face of a Jew, speak the language of the Jews, and have attended to all the ceremonies of the Jewish religion, and have openly professed to be a Jew all his days; but I will tell you a secret -- there is not a particle of the blood of Judaism in him, if he has become a true Christian, a Saint of God; for if there is, he will most assuredly leave the Church of Christ, or that blood will be purged out of his veins. We have men among us who were Jews, and became converted from Judaism. For instance, here is brother Neibaur; do I believe there is one particle of the blood of Judah in his veins? No, not so much as could be seen on the point of the finest cambric needle, through a microscope with a magnifying power of two millions.
So unlike everyone else who converts to Mormonism, where the requirement is that our blood either be Jewish, have some Jewish blood, or be miraculously transformed to Jewish blood out of necessity, your Jewish blood has to be drained and replaced with (presumably) Gentile blood.
If you Jews are really God's chosen people (and I believe you are), then why does your blood have to be changed? According to their prophet, it's as though you were an unclean animal! Doesn't this sound like White Supremacy to you? Are you detecting a little bit of Anti-Semitism?
Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Zion anymore
Not only do Mormons think they're the true Jews, but they are similarly confused about where "Zion" is.
Their current 10th
Article of Faith says,
We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
Aside: If you visit the church's website, linked above, credit is ascribed to their 'prophet' (NOT) Joseph Smith for the current list of 13 Articles of Faith. However, typical of Mormonism, which is Liberal, believing in
Progressive Revelation ("Progressive" being code for "Liberal"),
the Articles changed over time. Since I know Mormons, Liberals that they are, will bellyache, claiming that, despite the facts, the Tanner's can't possibly be
right, this
Mormon friendly site documents the changes also.
Now, you don't have to be a Bible scholar to know that Zion, in the Bible, is a reference to Jerusalem. In Israel. NOT Missouri. Among the first mentions of Zion is
2 Kings 19:31For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors.
The last reference to same is found in
Revelation 14:1Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion...
Now I trust you Jews know that the Lamb mentioned here in the last book of the Scripture is your Messiah, your final Passover Lamb. He died for your sins on the cross. You missed Him the first time, but I know you're (correctly) expecting your Messiah to set foot in Jerusalem, Israel, and that you (correctly) believe God is gathering you there now in fulfillment of His promise to you in the end times. You are NOT being gathered to Missouri.
Aside: If the Mormon church really believes their jesus is coming to Missouri, why are they headquartered in Utah? Seems to me they oughta move. Maybe the
Reorganized LDS denomination of Mormonism, based in Independence, Missouri, got it right and maybe they're the true Mormon church?
Mount Zion is in Israel! In fact, God doesn't even mention Missouri in the Bible! God is consistent with this throughout the Bible. Even unbelievers know that Jesus is slated to return to the Mid-East, not the Mid-West!
How do you Jewish people feel, knowing that
- None of you can be from the tribe of Ephraim or Manasseh, since the Mormons have a lock on that?
- Your beloved Jerusalem, the city where God's one and only true temple has ever been built, is trivial. You will have to move. To Missouri.
- You of the Ten Tribes will all become Mormon in the end as you're gathered to be with your long lost Mormon-Jewish (?) brethren to make Twelve. Oy vey!
Worse, Mitt Romney has sworn an oath to his church, as did
Matt Salmon, failed Republican candidate for Governor of Arizona. Both men swore to the following
secret oath:
You and each of you covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this altar, that you do accept the Law of Consecration as contained in this, the Book of Doctrine and Covenants, in that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the Kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion.
Since Mitt Romney believes Zion is really somewhere in Missouri, why should he care what happens to Israel? He believes he is the true Zionist and YOU have to convert to his religion. Wouldn't the destruction of physical Israel serve to fulfill his beliefs, allowing his church to build a "new jerusalem" in the States? Do you want a President who thinks like this?
Why, given his oath and beliefs, did he go to Israel at all? He went to get your votes.
Don't get suckered in by Mitt Romney. I've documented what his church teaches about you Jews. How they think they're the TRUE Jews and you, your Jewish blood has to be "purged." His church doesn't care about you.
As I posted before, they continue to baptize your dead, despite your protests and their assurances they would stop. Nor does he care about your land. To parody the song by Woody Guthrie, "Your land is his land."
Don't vote for Mormon Mitt Romney for President.
