Words don't mean things to Mitt Romney

Mormon Leader Mitt Romney

Can you trust this man if he can't get the "small" things right?
(Look closely at the graphic.
Is CNN sending a subliminal message?)

White and Delightsome man speak with forked tongue

The above subhead is kind of an inside joke. You see, regarding the American Indian the Book of Mormon says
that the Lamanites, at least partly descended from Lehi, are a 'remnant of the House of Israel' and the 'principal ancestors of the American Indians'
as stated on the 1981 edition's introduction.(The BOM is constantly changing.)

Of course, common sense tells you that's not true. (Therefore, the Book of Mormon is not true.) You don't have to stop using your head like cults demand and just "pray about it" as Mormons tell you to do. Nor do you have to be a rocket scientist—or a genetic scientist—to see that American Indians are descendants from Mongoloids, who walked across the Bering Land Bridge from Siberia to Alaska. Ever seen a Mexican who looked like a China man?

But in the racist Book of Mormon, we read that these dark skinned Jews (think White Supremacist and the curse of Cain) will become white when they convert to Mormonism. While you should laugh, know that True Believing Mormons, like Mitt Romney, take this stuff in the Book of Mormon seriously.

Trying for some comic relief in this otherwise deadly serious subject, I'm quoting what an American Indian non-Mormon might say about the very white Mormon, Mitt Romney.

At last week's GOP debate, the question to Mitt Romney from Wolf Blitzer of CNN was "... ten percent [of New Hampshire voters polled] wouldn't vote for you because you are a Mormon. What would you like to say to the voters tonight about your faith, about yourself and about God?"

Wow! What a great evangelical opportunity! I trust, Christian, you know how the Apostle Paul took advantage of his opportunity before King Agrippa to preach the Gospel? (Acts 26) So here was the perfect opportunity for Mitt Romney to do same, to tell the world over CNN what Joseph Smith said, that all other church "were ALL WRONG; and the Personage who addressed me said that ALL THEIR CREEDS were AN ABOMINATION in his sight. that those professors were ALL CORRUPT..." But did Mitt Romney use this opportunity to preach the gospel according to Joseph Smith?

No.

This is becoming predictable—and indeed, I've been over this again and again—but Mitt Romney is up to his usual deceptive talking points when it comes to his faith, Mormonism. He could shut down a lot of us "bigoted" bloggers if he would simply tell the whole truth about Mormonism and let the voters decide for themselves if they want a Mormon in the White House. But typical of Mormonism and any cult, Mormons won't fully tell you what they really believe until you're firmly in their clutches.

Predictably, he starts off invoking John Kennedy, that "he [John Kennedy] was not a Catholic running for President, but an American running for President." But Mitt Romney is no John Kennedy! Catholics don't swear an oath to their church! Catholicism is no longer a cult.  So don't fall for this false comparison. (Besides, John Kennedy was no saint. Can you say "Marilyn Monroe?)

He continues. Mitt Romney claims "that the values that I have are the SAME values you can find in faiths across this country." Oh, yeah? Do you think you are the REAL Jews? That YOU are the chosen race, as White Supremacist do? That's what Mormonism teaches.

Do you think abortion is murder, as God says? (Exodus 21:22-23 He requires the death penalty if the unborn baby is killed.)  Mitt Romney doesn't. Mormonism teaches the baby isn't alive until the fetus kicks. According to Mormonism, that's when the spirit baby from their pre-existence enters the body. So no big deal in Mormonism if you "terminate" the "fetus" early. The spirit baby didn't come down yet and will simply find another baby body.

Translating Mitt Romney correctly

Or

When Mitt Romney says, he means...

Then Mitt Romney goes on to enumerate those SAME values as you can find in faiths across this country.

He says, "I believe in God."

Muslims believe in "god." But Allah is quite a different God than the Christian God, YHWH.

Muslims believe in Jesus... but they deny He was the son of God. So do they really believe in the same Jesus as Christians?

I believe in Joseph Smith. That he lived. But I don't believe he was a prophet.  See, you have to believe the SAME things about someone to say you believe in that someone. But even that's not enough.

In the Bible, James says that even the demons believe in God. And they shudder! (Whereas most people don't.)

Do you think demons are saved?

Even if Mitt Romney believed in the same God as Christians, believing in God isn't good enough to get to heaven. Even demons do that.

What Mitt Romney really means is, "I believe in one of many gods. Brigham Young taught that the number of Gods and worlds is uncountable."

I guess that's the SAME value if you're a Buddhist. But not if you're a Christian.

He believes that his god was once a man, who earned his godhood. And further, that Mitt Romney can someday too become a god. Didn't Satan deceive Eve when he told her she could become like God?

Mitt Romney says "I believe in the Bible."

That's not quite true. He only believes the Bible "as far as it is translated correctly," per the Mormon Eighth Article of Faith. But in reality, his church says, "Who knows that even one verse of the Bible has escaped pollution, so as to convey the same sense now that it did in the original?" Mormons only quote the Bible when convenient.

You know that Joseph Smith "re-translated" the Bible and fixed it up, right? (A neat trick, considering he didn't know Greek or Hebrew.) It's funny, because not even the leaders of the Mormon church quote the Joseph Smith translation when it's not convenient.

And you know that Muslims believe (some parts) of the Bible. Is Mitt Romney that much different than a Muslim in his smorgasbord beliefs?

The Lord rebuke you, Mitt Romney

This next one is the most damning, and the reasons Christians are up in arms about Mormonism, per Jude 3.

Mitt Romney says, "[I] believe Jesus Christ is my savior."

He's probably sincere in that, but sincerely wrong. Aside from the fact that he has a different jesus than the Jesus of the Bible—his jesus was born by copulation between god the father and Mary (i.e. they had sex); his jesus was married and a polygamist; his jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer; his jesus had to earn his godhood by going through the Mormon temple ceremony and learning secret passwords and handshakes (in other words, his jesus has NOT always been God)—what Mitt Romney really means when he claims jesus christ is his savior is that his jesus opened the door for men to become gods someday. But you have to work off your own sins and, in fact, you have to work to earn your salvation. Why do you think they call it "temple work?"

And, in fulfillment of Biblical Scripture, the message of the cross is foolishness to Mormons. Their jesus sweat it out for you.

When Mitt Romney says that he believes his "god created man in his image," he means that quite literally. (We'll put aside for now that the Mormon temple ceremony teaches that their god didn't REATE anything, but could only ORGANIZE existent matter. And he had to have help at that!) But you have to pervert what he means, and think in reverse.

You see, Mormons think that their god is just a man. So when Mitt Romney says his god created man in his image, they take that very literally. And backward. That because we have bodies of flesh and bone, their god must also have a body of flesh and bone. They totally miss what God meant when He says we are created in His image. You can even see their blaspheme in Salt Lake!

Pandering

Mitt Romeny says he believes that "the freedoms of man derive from the inallieable rights that were given to us from [his] god."

I don't know if Mormonism really teaches that or not. Even if they do, I'll bet it's not for the same reasons as you believe. I have a GREAT photo I'll post about that soon.

For now, it's better to believe Mitt Romney is simply pandering, as he is doing about polygamy and continues to do whenever convenient. (Think flip flop on abortion.)

But you can believe this

Mitt Romney further said, "I also believe there are some pundits out there that are hoping that I'll distance myself from my...my church so that will help my politically. AND That's NOT GONNA happen."

You can take that to the bank!

Christian, is your allegiance to your church? Or is it to your God?

For the Mormon, it is the church. But Jesus isn't going to ask you on Judgment Day what church you belonged to.

Mitt Romney swore an oath to his church
that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the Kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion.
Don't be fooled. He WILL keep that oath and use his Presidency to advance the Mormon church. (Includes defeating the "enemies" of his church. Christian, that would be YOU if you're faithful!)

Don't be fooled. Mitt Romney 's values are not your values. His god is not your God. The Apostle John says Mitt Romney is a liar. (1 John 2:4) But Mitt Romney is telling the truth when he says he won't distance himself from his church. So DON'T VOTE A MORMON IN THE WHITE HOUSE! You cannot trust what he says and you have no idea what he's talking about.
