What's wrong with THIS picture?Kudos to the Casper Star Tribune
Mitt Romney has been
talking about winning a "gold" in Wyoming. But there's some question about Mitt Romney's recent win. It may be lack luster.
In the interest of time (mine), I'm simply going to give you the link for this story and you can read it for yourself. But here's a teaser:
The results of Republican non binding straw polls in some Wyoming counties Saturday don't jibe with the statewide delegate selection results in favor of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
Before I give you the link, here's what you need to know:
- Wyoming has a large Mormon contingent. (See the census graphic, above.)
- Taylor, as in Marilyn Taylor, a Romney supporter and delegate mentioned in the story, is a classic Mormon surname. There is even a town of Taylor, Arizona in the Mormon heavy east side of the State. (Again, see the graphic above.)
- Mormons swear an oath of allegiance to their church (leaders) in their temple ceremony to use EVERYTHING they have to build up the Mormon church.
- Mormons believe in the White Horse prophecy, where Mormons in government will swoop in and save our country when our Constitution is "hanging by a thread."
Now, with these four points in mind, read the report from the Star Tribune
Some question Romney 'victory.'Conspiracy Theory
Mormons will accuse me of being paranoid. Naturally, they're in a cult
and can't see the problem.
If you live out East, far away from Utah, all this probably seems far fetched. Fortunately, others,
including the Wall Street Journal on the Right (sort of) and the
Los Angeles Times (definitely on the Left) have observed similar hanky panky with the Mormon church.
Also,
listen to my post of two Arizonan's talking about life in Utah. These two are representative samples of non-Mormon callers on Arizona talk radio since last year, both on Conservative and Liberal stations.
Politically Incorrect
But many of you don't want to see the 800 pound gorilla in the room. (Or the
multi-billion dollar Mormon "church" corporate empire. You can "influence" a lot of people with that kind of money.)
It's funny how Conservatives are
quick to point fingers at Democrats, accusing them of cheating in elections. But heaven help you if you accuse Mormons of cheating. Why, that would be "anti-Mormon bigotry."
Or, maybe it's the truth?
But go ahead. Put a Mormon in the White House. Vote for Mitt Romeny for President. Let's see what else tarnishes.
Speaking of tarnish, what does God say about rich people and their money?
Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you.
Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the 'LATTER' days. (James 5:1-3)
Remind you of anyone or any church?
[God says it's not money that's evil, per se. Money, like a gun, is amoral. It's
the LOVE of money that's a root of all kinds of evil.. In God's mind, hoarding it (as opposed to saving for a rainy day) is sin.
Read this parable to see the difference and see what happens to those who hoard.]
I used to wonder how gold could tarnish. But then I was watching the
Antiques Roadshow. Someone had brought in some gold piece that had some kind of corrosion on it. The appraiser asked if it had been stored with any silver. She said that if gold and silver are stored together in an airtight vault, the gold will tarnish! Amazing.
