It's okay. They're Mormon.
Hugh Hewitt just said that 6 million Mormons won't vote for Mike Huckabee. (SuperTuesday show, first hour.)
So it's evil "anti-Mormon bigotry" if Christians won't vote for a Mormon because
of the Mormon temple oath (not to mention
Mormonism is inherently "Progressive" ( Liberal); Mitt Romney
has no convictions; his health care
is the SAME as Hillary's, etc.). But it's not evil anti-Christian bigotry if Mormons won't vote for Southern Baptist Mike Huckabee?
Let's see... how did Jesus say it? "Hypocrites!"
Mr. Hewitt also began the hour saying Rush Limbaugh endorsed Mitt Romney today.
I heard most of Rush's show. I didn't hear any endorsement. A check of Rush's website doesn't say that either.
What Rush has said is "anybody but McCain." (Well, Rush doesn't like former Gov. Huckabee either.) So like sloppy seconds, he'll settle for Mitt Romney.
Not very compelling.
Beware the Mormon block vote. It's happened already in
Wyoming, and
Nevada. Obviously it will happen in
Utah. I predicted he will win
Arizona due to the large Mormon contingent there (coupled with the Ron Paul movement).
But go ahead. Vote for Mitt Romney for President. It will be more of the same if there's a Mormon in the White House.
