"He's baaaack"
(Or he will be.)
Like a recurring character in a nightmare movie
Mitt Romney will keep returning.Who died?
Wow. From listening to the Hugh Hewitt show today, you think someone had died. (Thursday, February 7, 1st hour) It was like a funeral for Mitt Romney, with people calling in their condolences.
Fortunately for me, today's was the last Hugh Hewitt show I'll be listening to for a L O N G, long time. What's the point?
I'll plan to comment someday about lessons learned from the Right Wing Main-Stream Media and how disappointed I am with the politics and propaganda. And deception.
You might think I'm happy that Mitt Romney quit his candidacy today. While I am certainly upbeat about it, it's better to say I am extremely thankful. But I didn't gloat.
The Golden Rule
In the Bible, God commands those who are His followers (i.e.
those who have become His children, those who are "born again"),
Do not gloat when your enemy falls;
when he stumbles, do not let your heart rejoice, (Proverbs 24:17)
Of course I'm very relieved we dodged this bullet (a Mormon in the White House). But still, I'm saddened that Mitt Romney is still on the wide road that leads to hell. As is anyone who hasn't found the acceptable remedy for his sin.
But it's his choice. After all, it's not like he hasn't heard the Word during all his campaigning,
that Mormons aren't Christians. Or maybe his good friend, that Evangelical Christian Hugh Hewitt, didn't do what we Evangelicals (and Jesus and the Apostles and the prophets of old) do? He didn't warn Mitt Romney of what lays ahead?
Like a bad movie
Hugh Hewitt
wrote a book about Mitt Romney. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll have to wait long for the movie to come out. I have a scary feeling that, like Freddy Krueger, we haven't seen the last of Mitt Romney.
And then the nightmare will start all over again.
I'm planning to wind this blog down over the next month but if you want to follow my final posts with RSS, here's the link.
