Former Mormon demonstrates Mormon Blood Oath
Sinister?
So Hugh Hewitt is on his high horse on his radio show today, acting as both Czar of Politically Correct Speech and
Defender of the Mormon Faith. (Warning Will Robinson! Mormons will not let you say what you want!) He is arguing that it's ungood for Mormonism to be called a cult because "in the modern vernacular it [cult] means sinister. And the Mormons just are simply not sinister."
Oh yeah?
Are secret blood oaths to keep secrets "sinister" to you?
In the recent PBS Frontline series on The Mormons, which aired earlier this week, a former Mormon (above) talks about the oath of secrecy.
you made this sign of disembowelling yourself and then also slitting your throat. And you made this in conjunction with a promise that you made, that you would never reveal what goes on in the temple, you would never reveal any temple rituals.
Mr. Hewitt, who claims to be an expert on Mormonism, and who claims to be fair minded, not biased at all toward Mormons, feigns lack of knowledge about this blood oath. I have an audio clip where a former Mormon calls into the Laura Ingraham show when Hugh Hewitt is plugging his book. The former Mormon mentions the blood oath, but Mr. Hewitt remains silent. Then a Mormon caller follows, who says he's been through the temple, claiming to not know about any blood oath. (See
Lying for the Lord.) And Mr. Hewitt just laughs.
I'll post the audio when I can catch up.
Then, in the PBS puff piece for the Mormon church, a Marlin K. Jensen, cited as an LDS Church Historian, gives the typical Mormon cult explanation and obfuscation that
it is in a SENSE secret, because we don't talk about it outside the temple. We do that ONLY because it's a sacred thing to us.
Liar, Liar, it won't be just your pants on fire!
What a liar. It's not secret in a "sense." IT'S A SECRET, PERIOD! They are told it's a secret in the ceremony! Review the woman's quote above.
Listen to the temple ceremony for yourself! They don't keep it a secret ONLY because it's sacred. (Which it's not. To the God of the Bible, the Mormon temple ceremony is blasphemous.) Rather, they keep it secret ONLY because of the aforementioned blood oath! That they would rather have their brothers kill them than reveal the secrets in the temple! Isn't that the quintessential nature of a cult?
DOUBLE MINDED CULT WARNING
Mormons ALWAYS invoke this "it's secret not sacred" sophistry. As any Mormon why they don't talk about temple ceremony. They ALL say the same thing. That's how you know Mormonism is a cult. That's one characteristic of a cult. Another sign of a cult is the illogical double-mindedness inherent within.
For example, the Book of Mormon claims to be a "sacred record" of an ancient people, yet Mormons promulgate that "sacred" thing all over the world. If they don't talk about the temple ceremony ONLY because it's sacred, then likewise, they should not talk about the Book of Mormon.
The sinister Mitt Romney
Mormon Mitt Romney has sworn this blood oath. Yes, this blood oath was removed in 1990, when the temple ceremony was changed. (Like George Orwell's "memory hole," younger Mormons will never know about it.) But he's still under that oath. Ask him about it. Just like a Mason, he won't tell you.
He's also
sworn an oath of allegiance to the Mormon church, which is still in the ceremony today.
Do you really want a cultist, who's sworn these sinister oaths, as your President?
Don't vote a Mormon in the White House. Don't vote for Mitt Romney. It would be a bloody shame.
