Trick or Treat?
Run for your lives! It's a Trick!
Mitt Romney featured on the cover of
October 8 Newsweak magazineHalloween is coming... and it may come late next year on November 4, 2008.

Kudos to Steve Forbes
So I'm surfing the channels one morning, and come across MSNBC's
Morning Joe I think they call it. (The Imus replacement. I like Joe Scarborough. Seems very level headed, even handed, common sensical.)
They have a round table discussion going, and they're talking about the Newsweak magazine cover that week. (This was for the week beginning October 8. Can't remember the exact day I saw this on TV.)
By the way, the cover story says it has been
... more than 100 years after [the Mormon church] outlawed polygamy ...
Uhhh... the Mormon church did NOT outlaw polygamy. I plan to cover this soon, but if you read
the Official Declaration for yourself (and remember to read it "like a lawyer," as Mitt Romney said to do in the
Jan Mickelson interview), you'll see that the Mormon church only put the practice on hold, until such time as the laws in our country change to make polygamy legal. Worse, the "Official Declaration" is not an order, but rather only "advice." According to Joseph Smith, you need plural wives to fulfill the covenants to become a god. That's why the Fundamentalists LDS do it. They're the true Conservative Mormons. Mitt Romney's denomination of Mormonism is inherently
liberal.
Crazy like a fox
They ask Steve Forbes why he thought a Left Wing magazine like Newsweak would do a story on Mitt Romney now? Mr. Forbes answered, "Because the Left knows that Giuliani is the only one who can beat Hillary." (Or words to that effect.)
The implication being, the Left isn't stupid. They will use their power to try to steer Conservatives to a GOP nominee the Left thinks it can beat.
[
UPDATE: A Mr. Frank Rich, of the NY Times,
attacks Rudy Giuliani yesterday. (October 28) He tries to provoke the Religious Right.]
And the Left thinks it can beat Mitt Romney. I'm guessing because of his Mormonism.
[
ANOTHER UPDATE: See Conservative Townhall columnist John Hawkins blog:
The Conservative Case Against Mitt Romney. While he misses the whole thing about Mormonism as it pertains to character and values, he gets it when it comes to Americans not voting for a Mormon in the White House.][For what it's worth, I learned, while researching this, that
Steve Forbes has endorsed Rudy Giuliani.]
God works in mysterious ways?
That God works in mysterious ways is not a verse in the Bible. But still, there's some truth to it.
Sometimes God uses pagans to do His bidding, as with Balaam. (See
Numbers 22-24)
So wouldn't it be ironic if God used the Leftwing MSM to warn people about the falsehoods of the Mormon religious cult should Mitt Romney be nominated the GOP Presidential candidate?
But go ahead. Be politically correct. Ignore a man's religion, from where character should come. Vote for someone trapped in an ever changing cult. Vote for Mormon Mitt Romney for President. They did that once in Arizona. Voted for a Mormon governor. Ever heard of
Ev Mecham? They got him out as fast as they could. And Arizonan voters didn't make the same mistake again. (

For those of you who like to play strategy, you could say that a vote for Mitt Romney is a vote for Hillary Clinton!
