"Partial Birth Christianity." Voting (not) for Mitt Romney

Despite what I've already written, the comments are starting to come in that somehow "religion" and politics are two different things. But that's not true. Anyone remember the old admonition to not discuss religion OR politics at parties? (See where that's gotten us.)

No, you can't call yourself a Christian, refuse to compromise on some things, but at the same time, when it comes to "politics," be willing to compromise on those same things. God calls that "double minded." Never a good thing, and used to describe unbelievers. (How can you say on one hand that "abortion is murder," but on the other hand, "I will obey the laws of the land." Didn't some Nazi's try to use the latter to justify their murder of Jews?)

Fortunately, I'm not alone in seeing this. Jack, a caller to the Rush Limbaugh show, articulates it well. (Nov 22, 2006, 2nd hour) He coined the term "partial birth christianity" for pew sitters who claim to be Christian, but by their actions, deny the power thereof.

I'll let him tell you in his own words. Here's a FAIR USE excerpt from the Rush Limbaugh show. [About one minute. When you get the download page, click "download" and tell your computer to open the file in your media player.] Remember what Jesus said about lukewarm Christians afflicted Him. (Revelation 3:16)

If you're a Christian, you do not want to condone Mormonism by electing Mormon Mitt Romney for President of the United States.
