According to
this story from MSNBC, Senator Brownback reprimanded a campaign staffer for sending an e-mail "criticizing" the Mormon church. Get this:
The e-mail asked for help in fact-checking negative statements about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for which Romney is a member, such as “the LDS Jesus is not the same Jesus of the Christian faith.” Hart said the aide who sent it, Emma Nemecek, was reprimanded.

So now fact checking is "criticizing?" That's scary.
And it's a "negative statement" to suggest that the Mormon jesus is different from the Christian Jesus? But THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF MORMONISM! To correct your wrongheaded view of god! Let me explain from the Mormon perspective.
You silly Christians don't get it! (Speaking now as a Mormon would.) As Joseph Smith said (that god told him),
You are all corrupt! The WHOLE reason Joseph Smith HAD to come was to
RESTORE the TRUE GOSPEL that all of you silly Christians lost! Our beloved Joseph Smith had to restore what was lost... and that means correcting all the errors you believe about your God.
For example, you silly Christians believe in an "incomprehensible" God, who is
three in one. So we Mormons always ask you: Who was Jesus talking to in the Garden? Himself? (Yuk, yuk.)
Our gods are much easier to understand than your God. You probably think that
God is spirit.
That He is not a man. But Mormons know that god is just a man.
He has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man's. And while you silly Christians believe there is only one God who exists as three Persons, we Mormons believe in three separate gods who are three separate personages. They all have separate bodies,
except the Holy Ghost, of course, who is still waiting for his body.Yeah, that's different. That's because YOU are all wrong!
And you probably think it's blasphemy to think you can become not only like God, but can become a god yourself. But that's the new promise, the new gospel of Mormonism.

The Mormon "prophet" makes a Negative Statement!
The ironic thing is that even the current "living prophet" (NOT!) of the Mormon church acknowledges
that the Mormon jesus is different from the Christian Jesus!In bearing testimony of jesus christ, President Hinckley spoke of those outside the Church who say Latter-day Saints 'do not believe in the traditional Christ.' 'No, I don't. THE TRADITIONAL CHRIST OF WHOM THEY SPEAK IS NOT THE CHRIST OF WHOM I SPEAK. For the Christ of whom I speak has been revealed in this the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times. He together with His Father, appeared to the boy Joseph Smith in the year 1820, and when Joseph left the grove that day, he knew more of the nature of God than all the learned ministers of the gospel of the ages.

Will Senator Brownback call up the Mormon "living prophet" (NOT!) and demand he apologize? Even if the cult of Mormonism teaches that the Virgin Mary wasn't quite as virgin as you thought?
The Mormon god came down and had sex with Mary. That's how their jesus was born. When Mormons say that "jesus is the son of god," they're not kidding. They're speaking quite literally. The Roman Catholic church also has a different jesus than the Jesus of the Bible, but we both agree that Mary did not copulate with God.

Well, unlike Senator Brownback,
at least Al Sharpton gets it. He knows the difference between Christianity and Mormonism. And he isn't afraid to (in this case) speak the truth.
How
perverse that God should have to send a Demoncrat to speak the truth
about Mormonism! If Mitt Romney wins the Republican
nomination, I hope the Democrats will shout the truth about Mormonism. (Like, how about that secret oath?)
If you can't be trusted in the small things
What's the big deal? Why is this stuff about the Mormon jesus so important?
Because Mitt Romney is lying. He tells everyone that "They care about what values I have, and as they get to see my family and my wife they realize MY values are AS American as you’ll find anywhere in this country."
Uhhh.. but Mitt Romney,
your wife is a Stepford wife. She is dependent on you, not Jesus, to call her out of the resurrection! That's not American! That's not Christian! That's not even right!
If Mitt Romeny can't even get the "small" things right about his jesus (who was a polygamist, had to earn his godhood by learning secret passwords and handshakes in Herod's temple, is the spirit brother of the devil, is not "God," but only one of millions, if not billions of gods - do a GOOGLE search yourself), then why should you believe him when says his values are your values?
They are NOT! Mitt Romney is a double minded man. Don't vote a cultist Mormon in the White House. Don't vote for Mormon Mitt Romney.
By the way, Senator Brownback needs to apologize to Emma Nemecek. She was just getting the facts.
